some other dj told me that borgore said that this is his style of "mixing". so every tune can progress from the very beginning and people could get the "build up" of the tune properly!
and that's what is fundamentally wrong with dubstep DJ's in 2010. Not everyone, but a lot of DJ's seem to feel the need to go from one drop to another, to go from one highlight to the next. And w got all these kids coming in from Jump Up D&B who have been partying like that to shit drum & bass for the past few years expecting the same thing in Dubstep. And now we have shitty DJ's catering to their needs (like borgore and most of the circus crew and what have you).
What happened to bassweight meditation? What happened to hypnotizing mixes. Big up everyone still doing this. Nowt wrong with the occasional highlight, drops, rewinds etc.. But it should be the exception, not the rule.
And that's what is wrong with dubstep.
HAHA.

It is a little annoying reading about people hating on borgore, I throughly respect him as an artist, he is an actual developing artist which seems to be a rare phenomenon in Dubstep (others I look at similarly : Vex'd, Chasing Shadows, Mensah, Jakes, Kromestar) all those names are artists who have a specific sound but also experiment and push their branded sound, you can hate on their sound all you want but honestly you should still highly respect them for being original and not trying to abide by anyones full opinion.
It is getting annoying hearing you guys complain about something rather beautiful

Mala summed it up by saying how these newer producers are just putting out a different energy around 140. It's all personal preference, but i'd want a warm sub bass over a grunting LFO any day of the week.

They aren't in the same sentence.
On top of that you are not following what I am saying.
He is a developing artist who is quite original. Whether you think his work is beautiful or not had nothing to do with what I was saying and frankly I get the point that you do not like his work I am tired of people only referring to bad things regarding someone as talented as him.

dubstep is bass music and should be kept that way..

why not?
it would be very interesting metal and unique,
dubstep or metal is not about what instruments are used...

I mean seriously, his music is actual shite. How on this fucking planet does some asshole like him get into the top 10 of beatport and mala, loefah, etc. are nowhere to be seen? His raps are just HORRIBLE out of rhythm and not even funny. Its just stupid, Eminem does comedic rap, but the thing he does is make it slightly humorous. "FIRST DO DA FUCKIN DISHEES!" Oh you, Borgore, oh you.
Because bitch, most young people don't love music as much as you. They wanna go out, feel carefree & young and go crazy to mad party music that's in vogue. After the club they go home and chill with their mates. Then come monday they get on with their lives and try and follow their dreams; maybe they fancy being a doctor.
They don't want to live at the cutting edge of music, which let's face it, is very specialist.
Props to Borgore for making it in one of the most difficult industries in the world. Music.
