I though i was lol, only like a few tracks, with cloudlight being one of them. I think the sound design is awesome and it is definately well produced but I dont feel the tracks

I liked everything I heard from Eskmo. Until I heard cloudlight... maybe I need to relisten but that is a fucking awful song.

how does he get those snares so wet? all the natural sounds give it a real organic feel.

to me they sound like claps layered with snares or some foley room style field recordings
i always thought they sort of sounded like when you open a can of pop or opened a bottle of beer which i've recorded to similar effect

Wow!! Incredible.
This guy has some serious skill.. There's a punch and edge to his sounds which must have been engineered but without losing the organic feel or biasing the sounds in any way. Amazing.

Awesome album. The sound design is epic.
One thing thats a bit odd is the same wet snare/clap sound all the way through but it works well enough.

Just had to resurrect this to say this album is definitely a grower too! Thought it was really good at first but now I really realise how much gold is actually on this album. "My Gears Are Starting To Tremble" is one of my favourite bits of music ever, shame it's so short!
One of the best albums ever IMO.
