from the audio metalheadz have just been funny at both culture clashes.
at the second one, one of the mc's rags on soul jazz for not playing any soul or jazz and they just playing reggae which channel one was bought in to play (or something along the lines).. then metalheadz play dubstep in the entertainment round (dubs of katy on a mission & hard) while the same mc goes on to say "any style you need". come on buddy, this wasnt even the mixed up style round and your playing the style of music you are meant to be clashing and one of the tune is from someone you are clashing against. poor

so true. You got artists like Phil Source, Kryptic Minds, Commix etc, classic Metalheadz artists out there reppin the drum n bass and dubstep big time, while Goldies raggin on people for making 'party tunes' instead of deep material in interviews, then soundclash comes along and he books Andy C...

And what does Andy drop first when he gets on the decks? A Kryptic Minds tune

lol. I guess, you know, Andy doesnt get out much these days and he doesnt get payed as much as those other boys for sets, so maybe Goldie was taking pitty on him and hes a relitivly small dj compared to Phil Source and Km, needs all the exposure he can get so he can keep on making those deep Metalheadz tunes we all love Andy C for... oh wait...
DMZ won that clash the minute they dropped Blue Notez into Dread Commandments
"Who said fuck offffffffffffff!!!!!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!"
its so true. i love the metlheads sound of old. back when peshay used to put out AMAZING jungle on them. why not play a bit of that? andy c made some good tunes years ago but he's surely THE most guilty of dumbing down his output to make money. though when you earn as much as he does and play the sort of shows he does you can't knock him.
big up shy for the clash tune. hopefully this might spark something for the next clash. would be good to hear some more of these next time!

That's quite a dub he got there
However, he actually pwned himself purely because he is playing dubstep to get a response like that. If that was a DnB remix...

Im listening to the full thing now
Pokes is gold "Metalheadz, why'd you bring your sound out just to take it home in an ambulance?!"
Skream even got his word in, "Metalheadz, you made classics, now we MAKE classics."
