This, someone asked me the other day if I liked dubstep, I said yeah, but then proceeded to say I don't like skreeching wubbles.

Then she asked what genre deadmau5 is because she loves him

and I lol'd

Some guy from Shoreditch it would seem. Just had to post a video to prove to the world how cool he is.
but arnt people doing the exact same thing on here? we all stereotype regardless of whether you admit it or not its a natural thing people do, I personally try not to do it but I catch myself moaning about chavvy stnuc all the time and how they dress or act, its not right though when people associate a genre of music especially a genre which holds such diversity with people who do drugs or how they dress, as 'dubstep' attracts people from all ends of the spectrum regardless of how they dress or act, so we should try and lose the attitude of judging people and start listening to some music again

:t: You've clearly never been to Shoreditch, or you'd know what I meant...

Funny this popped up actually..t'other day at a curry house the waiter tried to mug me off (well, did) when taking my order and saying "sorry we don't sell fish and chips har har har"...and the guy opposite me after said.."ha he probably knows you like dubstep..want a Stella with that? hahah" - I didn't know what that meant...so carried on with life.

Edit: Is that you in the vid? Apologies if feelings were hurt.
I don't turn on Korn to get it on, I be playin Digi Mystikz 'til the dawn

dont know what the fuck was going on with ketamine last year/ 2 years ago. Majority of people out in certain clubs were on just ketamine and no uppers. And meeting entire groups of people out at dubstep raves who were actually addicted to it. Who the fuck gets addicted to ketamine. Weird. Corsica Studios seemed to be a hotspot

i'm happy to say i've been clean of it since summer '09! realised that i'd been boshing it for 2 years and every time i did it i ruined my night. so i stopped one day and its been all good since then. had to change my friend circle to a certain extent as the wave was most definitely cresting over the last year.

if, by the sound of it, its going away in london then hopefully notts will follow suit. can't come soon enough for me to be honest. fucking party killing, zombie making, fun sucking waste of time it is!

Unfortunately yeah. They automatically group you with:
1. Candy Kids
2. Dubtards
3. Hipsterfags

I don't prefer ecstasy, I don't listen to Borgore, nor do I wear fedora's and smoke American Spirits.
Like every genre, the stereotypes exist.
SKUZZY-DAM
Dubstep from Houston, TX... Yeah... We're not all fucking cowboys.

Its got to the point were people ask me what kind of music I'm into that I tend to usually list a long far flung collection of genres' before reaching Dubstep, even though it is primarily the majority of my music library and my choice of music and nights out almost every single day/night, It's not that I care about what they think of me personally before i get rounded on, it's the widely known fact now that within a conversation if you say Dubstep is your favourite music, they automatically turn around and say " OMFG BRO, I LOVE DUBSTEP, I WENT AND SAW SUB-FOCUS, CHASE AND STATUS, FLUX PAVILION AT OCEANEA LAST NIGHT!" "MY FAVOURITE ALBUM IS THIS IS DUBSTEP THREE IT'S SO SICK BRO", And by this point I've thrown myself In front of the nearby train because I can no longer live alongside these deceived little hipster cigarettes! And then try to sell you some MDMA thats 85% Vitamin C. This group of people should be a government organisation for taking down anything they are told too, They would have 100% success record! :D apologies for the rant!

na cos they are just out having a good time listening to music they enjoy instead of worrying what people think of them and being pretentious enough to 'list a long far flung collection of genres' before saying they like dubstep even though it dominates their media library.
