Like all of you, he changed my life (for the worst, haha fucker!) nothing but respect for the music but, old age does bad things to your brain, and given technology and how it has changed what is possible in terms of production, and given the changing nature of music, and musical taste... I am sincerely concerned that he can no longer produce anything of relevance. This would be crushing, as a world with no new aphex...

while i agree that the kind of music he makes isn't exactly the most popular thing at the moment, to ever doubt his production skills is a joke.. he could make anything, probably to a much higher and more interesting standard than the rest.. he just doesn't seem to bother!

one of the things i like best about aphex twin is how no matter how many people try to emulate his craft, his music always sounds totally one of a kind, he's the king of this whole electronic music culture.

Has he ever tried to make anything relevant? He's always seemed an outsider, unique. :U:

I reckon he could make some sick garage tracks though.
