thanks people!
IMHO (and lots of others have a different take, but this is mine) you should stay clear the fuck away from eBay. If you get burned by the seller and the seller has a big enough account with 'em it'll be like pulling teeth to get it settled in your favor. I got scammed by two different sellers, reported it, and got ruled against both times with zero explanation. I will never, ever do business with them again.
build your own or have a friend build one for you (i'm sure you know someone with the knowledge)
hell i just built a studio machine for a bud like a month back on a budget of like 450$

wow total FAIL der shud be some way of demoting people who give shit advice!!

I use logic and ableton. Ableton for my own music recording mixing mastering others etc and logic for my college work...for this semester anyway. Logic is great its plugins are excellent and sound gr8 the amount of control over your fine editing and the detail in the daw is top notch but at the same time its like a fuckin old mans program its not inspiring and its not musical and its so much slower and harder to do things in...its the programmers choice and if you like programming your music its prob the 1 to go for. If you like to play your music then its not even a contest ableton wins hands down instant musical and inspiring easy to use and easy to really explore and figure out crazy shit...cant remember the last time ive seen a creative application of logic to make music...other than the standard stuff...gets a lil boring programing and a bored musician = boring music!
i dont care what you think you go to college to learn music you cant learn music

3osc is were loefah makes his bassline you need 3osc to make dubstep

every one knows that fl is the best daw for dubstep stop kidding yourself
piss poor troll is piss poor
i am not a troll just saying my opion just becauce you dont like what i say dont mean im a troll

you troll yourself and others

"i make music
other people give it labels/genres
thats it plain and simple"

then why use lables on soundcloud like dubstep ect

your shit to good post ratio is 100:1 im beating you their

so look at yourself before you call other people names in the future

one

All i can say is that my experience has been that logic is more of a chore than other programs to do the thing i want it to do. Maiking music in a creative way - the likes of max for live...follow actions and dummy clips ableton as a sequencer...the amazing routing possibilities and the ease to explore...building instruments and audio effects from scratch ive just learned alot more creative ways of making music in live than logic is all. Logic for me seems to be the patch generation of music as opposed to the really digging deep and figuring computer music out. (Nothing here is bible nor do i think it is just my current opinion which will prob be different this time next year).
yes it is all about you.

loads of people hate working with ableton.
i agree and disagree...would der be as many painters if they we didnt have colours to paint and would they be deemed as being uncreative if they felt they could nt express themselves in just black and white?

your analogy doesn't work...all DAWs have the same amount of colours to work with.

my analogy was that sometimes its the tools that inspire the artist and that a new tool sheds new light on ways to create and explore ones creativity...but your head is too far up your own ass to heed my opinion even tho i have taken yours onboard but watever dude keep it up der!! With 1,300 posts its pretty obv you really enjoy the sound of your own voice...so ill leave you to it. The argument is chump change anyway.
