Crackf. I demand you make me a logo.

Just realised no one posted a logo or w/e that they made on here. I'm studying graphic design but I still need some practice with
Illustrator. I'll try and get something going anyway.

generic dubstep youtube logo,

but i asked if he would show me some of the stuff hes planning on putting on, and if it isnt generic dbstep youtube music id be happy to put more thought into it!

i can't underscore this enough. people have no idea the amount of time that goes into truly mastering illustrator, or creative suite. those that are quick to say its easy, and that "its just a logo" are the ones that are the problem. this is across the board, in both the real world and the net. clients that have no idea about creative suite, or graphic design, should approach people just as any other technical profession. you don't ring up a plumber, and ask him to look at your sink for free, so why would you do it sitting behind a screenname?

OP is asking for someone with design experience to make a logo.

Those are the requirements, a designer, who is capable of making logos. Not websites, posters, flyers etc, but someone who is gifted at making logos.

I'm sure once he has made contact with someone, a proper brief and monies would follow.

wasnt really worried bout doin it for money, but i should actually get into doing shit like this (and properly, not just some shit logo i put together in 2 minuites)

I've had quite a bit of professional experience making logo vectors.

Get back to me, and I'd be interested in doing it.

Edit: hmm.. I just check my NS008 and although they are slightly similar, they're quite different. The only similarity is that they are both 3d.. maybe other albums have it differently.

cheers for the ideas so far, keep them coming! theres a few i like but im not sure whether theres a winner yet.

they're pretty similar on some of the ns ones, i got ns005 and nswl006 and its same letterin just not blocks, dont matter i dont think tho, sure other things have used that font aswell!

90% of the "design" i see spewing forth out of these "make me a logo plz for my dubstep night/record label/dj name!" type threads is fucking abominable.

These are the same people that think the photoshop lens flare looks cool. Also, most of these people don't appear to actually know what a logo is nor what it should do/how it should work.

No its not a design agency, but again, it's because people have "a cracked copy of photoshop" and think theyre the next david carson that other people come into forums like this asking for and expecting cheap or free work, or thinking people can knock up a logo in half an hour.

Sure you could go to somewhere like dafont.com and grab yourself a copy of "bleeding cowboys" or any number of inane, lifeless, distressed "look-at-me-i'm-edgy" type fonts and set some generic dj/producer name in it and voila - you've made a "logo".

I guarantee it will be shit.

All this serves to make it harder for those of us who actually are designers, who actually put thought into our work and spend a considerable time perfecting it.

Just because you have a cracked version of the CS suite and you "design" a flyer for your mates indie-disco every thursday night at the student union bar does not make you a designer.

Lol, it's so true
DaFont--->download Grungey or Futuristic looking font--->Type out label name in Photoshop with said font and maybe use a spray paint brush in the background, to bang home the point that the label is "Urban"--->Export to a .jpg

i never actually asked for a designer. i asked for someone who has some skill in design.
