I am making the trip with the gf all the way from Minneapolis, Minnesota.

I am going even if I have to sell all by DMZs and a kidney.

What recomendations can you guys give me for accomodations?

We'd like to just camp, but we aren't sure we want to bring all that shit half way around the world with us, or if we bought it in europe we wouldn't want to bring it back either, so it kind of comes down to a cost/benefit ratio of sorts. if lodging is cheap it be nice to have a roof above our heads.

I know I said this last year..but..I'm really tempted to go this year. Can I find mates to come with me though?? Hmmm.

last year there was a hostel accommodation option that seemed quite convenient and probably cheaper than buying a bunch of camping equipment in europe.

Flying from New Zealand to London in August ... then doing Outlook. London Airfares and Outlook festival tikets booked... haven't got anything planned for how to get from uk to croatia tho...

hopefully the kiwi crew end up with another camper van on the beach this year

If you wanna fly to Pula (the close Airport) I think your options are from Birmingham, Stanstead and Bristol (I think).

I haven't been but through my researchings, Stinjan seems to be the place to stay. Judging by the map it's like a 15-20 minute trek

Can anyone give me a ROUGH estimate of how much the whole trip will set you back? Flights, accommodation, travel, ticket, spending money included? Wanting to get a rough idea for 2012.

i guess i was coming from barcelona rather than UK, but i think i put far less than a grand into it.
