cloak and dagger wrote:Great idea! Is there any chance of them posting up contact info for demos as well? I have some tunes that I'm not really interested in posting to get feedback from other posters, but I would love to send some tunes to a few of these people.

Understandable if they don't want to give out that info so as to not get flooded with demos, it just seems unfortunate to me that the only chance I have of getting a track to Pinch is to put it on Soundcloud and publicly post it.
I'm pretty sure all of the labels have an open demo policy and specific address for that, I'll find out what they are.

The only gripe I have with this is soundcloud. Sometimes it effects the quality of the track. This is not only with my tracks but with others I have listened to on soundcloud and then compared with the actual version.

Yeah, I did think about other options, but SC is by far the most convenient and the sound quality is good enough to judge if a track has got the right bits at the right levels. Basically for all intents and purposes it will provide.

I guess if they like it enough they can ask for a wav or whatever can't they.

I'll no doubt be too scared to post a tune for fear of ridicule haha. (seriously though I'm guessing the feedback is not too harsh ;) )

Is this whole thing dubstep only? Like what are the boundaries? Cos most of what I make these days is probably considered bass heavy garage rather than dubstep...
