I'd rather hear something different than something the same.

Amnesiac is by far their best album. Flawless.

It only really works because of Kid A, IMO. In fact it was supposed to be a double album and you can hear the link between the two.
Life in a Glasshouse is one of their greatest works - to my ears anyway.
This being their best take of it:
From student rock of pablo honey, to the guitars of OKC and the abscene of them on Kid A and Amnesiac, to the New Orleans dirge of LIAGH...... sublime!

Yeah. All the tracks came out of the same recording sessions.
Kid A drags in the middle. In Limbo, Tree Fingers and Optimistic are nowhere near as good as the rest of the album.
I think Amnesiac works as a stand alone album. I rarely listen to Kid A.

Yeah, Amnesiac is their best record. With or without 'Kid A', which fluctuates in quality. Some good songs, and by no means a bad album, but it's no Amnesiac.

I don't rate Morning Bell / Amnesiac, and Dollars and Cents. Hate Knives Out, I think it's one of their worst!

Yeah, Morning Bell is their worst song and I always skip it, but the rest more than makes up for it.
'I Might Be Wrong' is the best one.

I tend to listen to Amnesiac in full. Listened all the way through six times in a row the other day.
Like Spinning Plates and Life in a Glass House are my favourite tracks off it. There isn't a bad track on the album though.

Mornings Mrs.Magpie is one of those tunes they've had as a demo for years but never put it into use.
The entire album has quite a sleepy macabre feel to it. It's also got that very RH stamp of multiple layers of sound and distance background noise like birds singing and static, the harmonic gentle guitar playing that was on In Rainbows makes a return. There's not really one track on here where Radiohead show their teeth and make that wall of sound that they do with other tracks. Instead it's got that haunting downbeat evocative feel to it, lots of deep bass; Feral sounds like The Gloaming in places. Very introspective album, maybe more so than Kid A?
I quite like it but it feels more of a free album than In Rainbows did.
Am on my second listen and I love it... Codex is gorgeous but

I'm on my third listen. Really like it. It's definitely a grower.
It's not particularly groundbreaking but it is really good. You can hear the UK underground filtering into their sound.
Shame people are making Four Tet and James Blake comparisons. It's far better than anything either of them have done.
Edit: The artwork is bloody awful. That font is crap and the image looks like concept art from Super Mario Sunshine.

Radiohead are by far the my favourite band - ive travelled to other countries to see them
I definitely prefer the 2nd half of 'King of Limbs' - Give up the Ghost is really doing it for me at the moment
Codex aswell is something special
Will definitely need to listen a few more times to absorb it all in - but so far i am really impressed
