No he's just plain shit by any standards. If you hadn't heard of Ramadanman before last year (or even this year), you've clearly been living under a rock since 2005, or just haven't been listening to dubstep enough...
these people...

I didn't say listening, I said "heard of". Nobody's challenging your right to think Ramadanman is "shit" music...but please don't fool yourself....

Ive been listening to Dubstep since 2006, Been really following it since 2007.
I do remember hearing bits before then as I worked in a record shop in sheffield (reflex) managing the hard dance/dnb etc. The guy who did all the garage and hip hop would play some with Grime etc and I really liked it but never asked what it was. That was about 2002-2003
It doesnt mean Ive lived on a rock, from what I can see he isnt rocking thousands of line ups around the country and is pretty big on this forum.
That just means I dont read much of this forum, It doesnt mean I dont listen to enough dubstep.
EDIT.
Just listened to some of his work on youtube and its a far cry from what I like to hear. Not saying its bad because for what it is, Its brilliant. Its just not my thing so thats obviously why Ive not heard of him.

I like all sorts of different styles of Dubstep just not that keen on Ramadanman's stuff that's all. I suppose i am more into my 'filth' or what ever you wanna call it but i do like quite a lot of deeper more chilled out stuff.

Well, that's almost unbelievable. Assuming you are telling the truth. Here's a man that has :
14 Releases under his belt since 2006
Released on recognised
quality labels such as Tempa, Soul Jazz, Hessle Audio, Applepips Hemlock, 2nd Drop and Swamp 81.
Mixed one of the
Dubstep Allstars (volume 7), the most recognised mixed dubstep cd series.
Did
remixes for TRG, Spectrasoul, Jamie Woon, dBridge, Scuba etc.
Is on duty for one of the next
Fabriclive mixes
Has been receiving massive support for his second monniker "
pearson sound" throughout 2010.
And people have never heard of him. I guess we've been enjoying the scene in completely different ways then.
Correct winner. Why shoot for mediocrity when you can push boundaries.

it did make me chuckle that certain DSF members had never heard of ramadanman, but Im all about 'each to their own'
If I turned these last comments on their headz, Im happy to put my hand up and say Im not so up on the bro-mid-range wobble steppers doing the rounds, but that's the beauty of dubstep
...dubstep hugs

Thats one thing I really like and appriciate about Dubstep. Its vast and two people such as ourselves who know our stuff on both sides of the spectrum are discovering new artists (As I have now with this guy) all the time. Past and present.
I do listen to a bit of Tempa stuff but unfortunetely his release must have passed me by. The other labels ring a bell thats it. Dubstep Allstars I have 2 x mixes from back in 2006/07 and cant remember what was on them at all. Again this was when I got into the sound alot more.
Im not brilliantly into Spectrasoul, Scuba or D-Bridge dnb but I like it and buy it.
I do spend alot of my time listening to alot of genres though and have gone through lots of phases. I love hard as nails dnb I also like the neuro/tech style alot
Love Tech Breaks too like Far Too Loud, Pitte, Funkatech etc. And Dubstep Im more into the filthy stuff e.g. Tomba, Excision, Torqux etc.
Not a fan of Rusko or Caspa but do like most other commercial dub like Magman, Skream, Benga etc.
Love Distance though and have bought a fair few other minimal bits.

Another big reason Im guessing is I come from a hardcore /techno background scene where I have produced and dj'd for a long long time so I get more excited about raw ferocious beats more than anything in other genre's
Plus The big mid-range stuff has lots of exposure in Birmingham where I live now. More so than any other Dubstep sound.
