Avaword the Avocado... haha wicked!
we adopted a basspotato for Combat's Belgium tour in 2005.... he's called Mashup:
Mashup got left behind in the boot of a car and didn't make it back to London... if anyone's seen him, get in touch!

need more tops on that system i think?
anyone notice the mass amount of feedback over parts of n-type's set?
engineer???
Getting the sound right in there is quite a mission... The acoustics change quite alot during the night with the amount of people in there, different producers mastering and EQing of the tracks varies quite alot as does various peoples subjective views on what the system should sound like. Another thing I've noticed is that the Pioneer cd players have a very bright sound compared to vinyl, and I have to pitch the sound of the rig so as not to make the cds sound too tinny, as well as the vinyl not too dull. As far as the bass goes having such a large amount of bins in such a small room means that its very difficult to get a flat, clean response because of all the rooms nodes/resonant points causing problems... Keeping everybody happy seems to be almost impossible!
dont get me wrong, i thought it sounded heavy in there!
I'm jus coming from a different point of view, i'm learning bout live sound and room acoustics at uni so jus wanted to know what was going on and why.
