So instead of just throwing it all away and not listening to anything he's making a real commitment to do so while getting something in return. People will obviously send him tunes constantly as he's one of the biggest in the scene and might do it just as a punt to get big regardless of quality (you see people putting more effort into spamming than production all the time unfortunately). So this means people will restrict the amount they send off to him as it costs money and send only their best and get more of a guarantee he will bother with it. He's only charging a quid a track. It's not extortionate.

I agree, its only a quid at the end of the day and who knows what might come from it!

oh, so that's what a quid is. well wasn't i confused.

if i had some tracks i thought benga wouldn't just delete after the first 30 sec, i would definitely pay a few bucks to have him listen.

I don’t think charging people will change anything he'll just get a few less tracks sent to him
producers tend to think there the next big thing or could be the next big thing if they had the right people behind them. their views are not goner be changed by 1 quid

a quid can also be a clump of leaves that you sort of suck/chew on for psychoactive effect.. i dunno, thats what i sent him.. i pre-sucked/chewed it a little bit. hope he likes it!!!!

What a joke. I don't even produce but pay someone to listen to my music!?!? you seeeerious. You must be absolutely awful if your paying him to listen to your music. As spiteful as it sounds I bet all those that did send in stuff get ignored. That'll teach you a lesson for being so stupid and being made a mock of.

I'm still shocked!?! Pay him!? Pay to listen to my music!?!?! hahahaha. What are the terms and conditions saying? If he (which i doubt it's even him) listens to it, he's not going to listen to the whole song he'll just skip through and listen to about 10 seconds.

Gonna message Mala and ask him to pay me to listen to his music, see what he says? While i'm at it ask him did he and Coki pay someone to listen to their music when they were young? £1's a pretty good deal when you think about it. hahahahaa

this is definitely a "laugh out loud moment"
