That's pretty stupid of you suggest that "wobbly bass" automatically removes any impact from the track and removes the artist's credibility.
Its stupid of you to suggest im here for the "wobbles"...that im only here for any track that has a wobbling bass line and that i dont care about anything beyond that..
And I can call you out on this because I've liked ALOT of the tracks that people have put up in this thread. and I am a huge fan of Enduser/Ebola/Incapacitants/Venetian
Snares/Merzbow/Current Value/ etc. and have been for several years. And now here I am checking out dubstep and the people quickest to comment are people like you. just
criticize everyword I say to the MAX and have nothing helpful to say..
As well I already searched around the internet and searched this forum for threads that already exist about this very subject. My apologies I did not see one of the "3 billion"
threads that would have told me exactly what I want to know.
I would say thanks for nothing, but you did link those videos so...I guess you're not a complete waste of time.....

heh yea im a fan of some of the artists you recommended for me, im curious to hear what dubstep producers have come up with, thats kinda why im here
having been a fan of a boat load of noisy music around the turn of the century , but never having heard Dubstep before, im totally curious
Broken note is pretty good. still gotta listen to vex'd
haha I should say tho personally I am DEFINITELY not a fan of Skrillex. But I do like Datsik. maybe agressive is th wrong word here. I was a big fan of Hardcore Techno a
while back...maybe noisy is a better word...its hard to really pin down.....so far Jogo, 16bit , Datsik and Broken note are who liked the most....

I Don't really listen to noise any more, it was something I had an interest in when I was younger, I just wanted to hear the noisiest, harshest form of music possible.
I honestly don't know what dubstep artists use noise exactly, when I listen to dubstep I don't look for that, I look for the deep, bassy or atmospheric vibes I get from most of the artists that are liked on this website, if I want aggression or noise I'll listen to a different genre, even drum n bass, so I can't really help you here.
Definitely check out Vex'd "Degenerate", one of the first dubstep albums, and one if the hardest. It's aggressive, at times noisy and atmospheric. It's a lot harder than their second album and it's far better produced then most of the 'hard' dubstep nowadays that gets labelled ad brostep. Check out tomba too, you might like that, I haven't listened as I don't like borgore but it's supposed to be aggressive.

StimpsonJay wrote:I know where to find this dubstep!
a few places...
1) Find a car at 1am with blue lights underneath the grill, a classic sign of boy racers. just follow that car and eventually they will blast out something "well filthy, yah"
2) Go to a student club
3) A 17 year old girls "birthday mashup! it's gonna be off the hook/well messy/lash central < either one" preferably Kelli (WITH AN I) or Chantrelle, Lara, Tiffy, any girl with the same name as a girl from SKINS. 4) The American Mid West
List goes onnnnn

You might say "Oh this is dubstep" (I wouldn't personally, rather I would tell them that it was Firepower by Datsik)
but you might be thinking "Geez mom, Datsik is not even that crazy. You should hear tracks by Kryptic Minds, they're complete psychos!!"

Borgore is a good fit for your description. Shitty, almost unaudible, just a big collection of noises that hurt my ears. We hate, you like?

My mum is actually doing a fantastic job whith her vacuum cleaner lately, I'd say even better than Skrillex. And my dad got himself a new powerdrill the other day and I have to say, he's already producing some wicked brostep tunes with it. Not as good as my mum though, if I'm completely honest. He could learn something from her haha. Cuz I tell ya, she got some skills!

Why don't you just play something complicating like Aphex Twin? My parents never liked his music.

Thanks to some of you who honestly are honestly trying to help. I did some more looking and the closest thing I can find to the sound I'm looking for is Datsik. The song of his called "Firepower" is close. its not dark or mood setting like Ekaros, but its very "in your face" aggressive and noisy. I guess I'm looking for tracks like that. but on the bleeding edge of what most people enjoy listening to.
here read this below
