Dropped off Garage before Grime (was around for Pulse X, Pulse Y, the Narrows riddims and the first Eskimo tracks), focussed on UK hip-hop which I was fucking with anyway, got into DnB at uni (was a Jungle kiddie when it died out in 1996) and then started hearing about dubstep.

as far as record buying is concerned, drum and bass. I always like the big chinky wobbly stuff or the jungly stuff and apparently you aren't serious about dnb unless you like that boring ass techy sound that all the kiddies are into nowadays.

When I first heard Joe Nice at a house party I was intrigued by the sound because it was so blatantly different and I like blatantly different. then I bought DMZ 004 and never looked back. I can't remember the last dnb record I bought, I think it may have been a paradox record.

frankly, I'm glad I found this music, it "fits" much better than any other type of music.

techno has always been my main gig, from deep to funky to hard as nails.

electro (broken beats, not that crap thing they call 'electro house' now)

a smattering of dnb and hip hop.

and just about everything else under the sun musically.

i like dubstep because it's pulling from all of these and more...
