There is no doubt that he is one of the most important players in the scene and has some fucking massive tunes to his name, but personally i haven't been feeling his more recent output at all

Has Skream been gettin with the bros? Or am i just misunderstood?
I really wish i could tell you the name of the tune, i was just at a friends house and he put on this track which he claimed to have been skream. I listend, intro wasn't solid but not weak, then the drop came down. WTF???? A clusterfuck of off tone midrange bass and is sounded like SHIT. I think skrillex had more melody in his tunes than this one.
Don't mean to rip on this dubstep pioneer, but im scared

hahaha damn, apparently this tune caught your ears too....sad isn't it?

this. respect to skream each and every tho... tunes like phatty drummer, down to the core, cimmerian w/ hijak, mood2fuk and beachsteppin prove he can still do it well. he is so prolific too that it would be hard to like all of his tunes, just the percentage of productions im diggin recently has been going steadily down.

same here. I have a theory on music genres, they can come across to be either good/shitty.

Smiley Face was one of the first tunes that got me into everything, so i've always gonna rate skream.
So many releases on so many labels, not feeling some of his latest stuff, but fatty drummer is a SICK one still.
only artist released on DMZ that isn't Loefah, Mala or Coki, nuff said? (bar that guy coki made intergalactic with)

I often wonder when I have the displeasure of running into his rushed tearout stuff if he released some of the unknown dubs he gave to Youngsta since at least 2006 along with them would I still see him the same way that I do now--that is to say, bemused with an ever present disheartened disposition when he fails to live up to his KNOWN high expectations. But when he gets it right... yeah, I don't think anyone (past or present) can come close to his productions, period (note: Rutten VIP, Warning D1 remix, etc...).

his current productions and mixes are dire, and his outlook on dubstep, i find, is meaningless at the moment
but i can't hate him, this song changed everything for me

Haha i wish i was more like you then! It doesn't take long for THAT(emphasis on the singular tense) drum beat to get on my nerves. Some i can listen to though, kind of.
Let's not get distracted though, this threads for skream!
It is kind of cool how he has such a dynamic range of genres he touches. But yeah, ive said it twice already, hes diving into the muck now. I hope he doesnt get stuck in it. <hahah they call this corntard =]

hmmmmmm
I know i've been shot down for saying this in the past but to me Intergalactic still sounds like an old Skream tune - its just that big snare that goes POP !
Go back and listen to "Moving Snarez" by Skream to see what i'm talking about
