For a few years I read a lot about legendary nutcase but in a lot of ways unexplored mind of Charles Manson.
My take on Manson is he is the result a megalomaniac confidence trickster rooted in a scene that just doesn't exist any more making it harder to relate to (hippies innit). Almost definitely off his rocker as well though.

BTW a copper at the (unfortunately named) Slut Walk berated a friend of mine for bad taste in wearing a 'rapist mask' (he has his scarf around his mouth).

I read some of the 'Talking With Serial Killers' book but didn't get too far...maybe to the second or third killer. Read up on Arthur Shawcross (I think?) the things he did were absolutely disgusting and quite upsetting
