This mentality is the right one. Plus if you've heard the other stuff he's released and think he'd let something that distorted out of his computer, you're being a fuck, youtube is not the end all be all means of music listening, it's actually one of the worst ones. Personally I don't dig the tune but it's good, as usual. When are you Canadian producers gonna tap into the wealth of awesome technical metal in montreal/quebec? Would be interested to see you guys work with some of those bands. Big ups for being around to defend yourself haha.

I like to incorporate guitar in a lot of my songs. Mostly progressive stuff though. A lot of times if I'm feeling uninspired, I'll pick up my guitar and base the song around that. And of course... Breakdowns. You can also use reverse reverb or stretch the sample for some trippy pad-like effects. Or an E-bow. God dammit, where did that thing go... It was a wonderful little toy.

well i certainly didn't expect someone to fuck up the quality of a tune that much before uploading, that video is bad promo and you should ask the guy to remove it or at least replace it with a better quality version (inb4 people ripping it from yt then).
after checking a higher quality upload i still stand by my point that a lot of the bass/wobble sounds are out of tune and while that might not be that much of an issue with more tearout-oriented tunes it certainly is in that one. no offense intended, just a matter of fact. hell i don't think the target audience will mind anyway and that's what matters.

Does noone realize these are normal people, not Britney Spears/Justin beiber/miley cyrus/ect?
Being big in one niche genre of the niche world of EDM does not make you a 'celeb' chad.
