mate reading this makes me both sad and angry, ure clearly passionate bout your music and as soon as i saw this thread i knew it would be full of haters giving you shit, even though you dont fuck all wrong just trying to learn, (and they wonder why original dubstep is dying. May i say here i detest heavy dubstep and my 1st love is the original sound so in a way im ashamed to say im 1 of them but all i can say is dont listen to them, xxxxgatxxxx wrote:Yes, it does. I only got into dubstep this year. That's why I decided to come to this forum to find some new people to listen to. Yea, my knowledge of dubstep only comes from youtube. Where else would it come from (pandora, no.) (last.fm, same thing as youtube). I'm going to put skream higher on the list as it's a work in progress. Instead of mocking my taste in dubstep, it would be great if you guys could actually mention some artists...JBoy wrote:Does your knowledge and experience of the dubstep scene comes purely from youtube? Actually i can tell it is, most likely youre still at school and you and your mates all crowd around the computers listening to skrillex's newest 'banger'. Makes me want to lock myself in a dark room and listen to allstars 2 and pretend it was still 2005.
GREAT PLACE TO BE !55stevieboy2010 wrote: skreams arse
What a sad way to listen to dubstep! Now only 10% of all dubstep is the minimal dark stuff that you love. You're missing out on the other 90%. Sure it's loud and in your face, but you get used to it. Eventually midrange starts sounding cool. And there's plenty of subbass, I don't care what some assholes on this forum say, they're wrong.55stevieboy2010 wrote:mate reading this makes me both sad and angry, ure clearly passionate bout your music and as soon as i saw this thread i knew it would be full of haters giving you shit, even though you dont fuck all wrong just trying to learn, (and they wonder why original dubstep is dying. if you want a couple of suggestions from myself (it might take a good few listens along with some nights out dedicated to this type of music to turn you to liking it, as is the case with most minimal music but here goes in no particular order....loefah, dmz, kryptic minds, toasty, horsepower prod's, silkie, benton, vivek, ben verse, lurka, commodo, distance, lx one, biome, jack sparrow, jsl.
Theres obviously hundreds more but theres a few to get you heading in the right direction mate![]()

Biggest tip i can give you i dont listen to a thing anyone say on here, most have their heads up skreams arse, even though in my opinion he aint in my top 50 artists, especially his latest dread productions and their rudeness would never in a million years match that as if they met you face to face. They prob wouldnt say boo to a goose lol. good luck man
lololol why give up? :/ he can get to knowscattybeanhead wrote:you poor unfortunate child. you obviously had no idea what kind of shit was going to be thrown at you when you posted this list on DSF. i would just give up tbh mate, you really dont have much clue about a vast majority of the genre and will just get flamed for any opinions regarding how 'talented skrillex is' etc
too trueJBoy wrote:Does your knowledge and experience of the dubstep scene comes purely from youtube? funny tho you seem to have a grudge against Skream? It may be that u aren't feeling his latest productions (me neither) but that doesn't change the fact that he has made incredible tunes in the past, you may say I have my head up his ass but you think I smiled when I heard bass canon on DMZ? and DMZ in Amsterdam? No I didn't fucktard (and if ur saying I have my head up a mans arse (seriously why would I have my head up his arse? I'm sucking up :')) then I'm going to call u a fucktard) I left the room and went to moxie I didn't moan or cry like a baby but I ain't slating the guy for a change of direction
and if I were u I'd be well ashamed not to put him in ur top 50 (dubstep top) and I advise u to listen to my list cause clearly u haven't if you're saying shit like that
edit; and if u have and still feel the same way ur just a plain stubborn idiot (or someone with a different taste)
This is called dubstep forum ,not brostep forum.Fugglor wrote:My god, people here are really judgmental...
