First time I heard Hamas Rule on M.A.H's old show it had me frozen where I stood. The man, along with Burial, is unique. They're both beyond dubstep :)

I've pondered before who else is on Burials level in terms of pure vibes. It's a pretty short list, but shackleton is on it. So is James Blake.

Was in Berlin club "about:blank", where dubstep is mixed every thursday. Asked DJ for Shackleton and so he played a remix of "Deadman".

FYI: Shackleton lives in Berlin now.

Saw him live for the first time at outlook, it was pissing it down with rain, the visuals were dark, twisted and suited, the set was intense and I was blown away, shackletons take on music is sheer brilliance.

Magical. Didn't know he was at Outlook. Lucky.

i might be half imagining this but i swear a couple of years ago he done a whole soundscape wall of utter creative BADNESS on mah's old show. mah used to feature him quite often and he ALWAYS brings new ideas to the table. a true genius.

Dunno what people are talking about with him clearing the floor.

I finished a set a few months back by playing stuff along the lines of Tunnidge and Distance before playing a Truth tune then mixing to Shackleton's Shortwave then Mala's Education to finish. People loved it at the time

The Outlook gig was the best I ever saw from him, and I saw him 4 times now and also at Berghain in Berlin. But his set there blew me away totally...He always reinvents himself...

Shackletons' deffo my favourite producer, haven't heard one single weak tune from him. And the two previously unreleased tracks featured on the Mordant Music comp pretty much put anything else to shame.

No one plays Shackleton because they are too scared, the only person who can play Shackleton is himself.

His live show is the most incredible thing in existence, he's playing tonight in Nottingham but my car broke down so may have to venture down to Fabric tomorrow.
