it doesn't exist. Think theres 1 tearout producer duo that's pretty garbage that also runs an entertainment company and sneaks into opening a show or 2, bout it

Everyone out at 3am...
Limerick is starting to get things going. Loefah was down last month and dubculture and dubblebass played the same night. We were lucky with the timing as it was when the clocks went back. Extra hour of Loe which resulted in him playing some classics (Goat Stare, Request Line)

. Subtle Audio, the DnB label, did a night as well.
Good sound system in the Warehouse, too.

The bass culture boys are good, caught their sets at BUMP! festival. You guys had Goth-Trad over for Paddy's Day aswell

Artwork is playing a set in dublin soon, should be a banger.

Belgium is a small country. But bass scene has always been strong here. Probably the strongest on mainland Europe?
With Untitled!, we probably have the biggest dubstep night in Europe, outside of the UK.
The scene is about 60%/40% right now, in pushing 60% commercial shit (probably because big summer and spring festivals are popular here and they tend to go for the economically viable names). But also, a surprising 40% pushing in alternative vibes.
Brussels is the place to be right now for the underground scenes, with about 4-5 collectives in Brussels alone putting up nights.
Antwerp brings a good mixture of the all variations (hosting Untitled!, Mad Selection and a host of others). Also, it Antwerp still has a pretty strong Jungle/hardcore/rave scene and has some of those oldskool nights on a regular basis.
Ghent is another city that is revelling in dubstep. Two or three of the bigger nights there as well, with generally more of a focus on dark half-step, but also a little tear-out and oldskool.
In West-Flanders there are also two or three collectives, Warriorz come to mind, also the guys at JH Comma.
On the other side in Hasselt, there was a lot of room for UK Garage with Dublo Activated dubstep focusing on the sounds of Synkro, L2S, Resketch.....
Louvain has a scene completelt centered around tear-out. Perhaps because its a student city? Same goes for Turnhout, which also seems to be centered around tear-out.
All in all, a diverse and booming scene, but you know for the good alternative forward thinking stuff, Brussels is your best bet these days.

bass scene? hahahaha the only bass scene in North Carolina, USA is a bunch of hillbilly rednecks with cut-off plaid flannel shirts on their half rotten and deteriorated front porch with a bass guitar yelping about their truck and some girl they are in love with but have never talked to because they didn't know what to say. Skank away.......

Here in Sofia, Bulgaria we r pretty fine I guess :] Got a huge D&B scene pushed fwd by the
http://hmsu.org/ crew.
EXo as a part of it started Mirizma which has brought to us the sounds of Mary Anne Hobbs (2008), Luke Envoy (2009), Nero (2007), Foreign Beggars (2009), Bunzer0 (2009), Skitz (2009), Rodney P (2009), Vadim (2009), MRK1 (2009), Deadbeat (2007), Sukh Kinght (2010), Bar 9 (2010), TRG (2008), Alien Pimp (2010), Jazzsteppa (2010), Solitude (2011), Rob Sparx (2011), Numa Crew (2011), Dub Terror (2011), Kromestar ft. MC Sun Of Sellah (2011), Von D (2011) during the years...
As for quality/mainstream events we r like 40/60. Other promoters bring djs like Borgore, Skism, Funtcase, Cookie Monsta, Flux P, Doc P, xKore, DJahsta for..educatin the masses :/ Anyway..we r fine

Can always watch GetDarker..or listen to Rinse/Sub/Rood FM :]

Rotterdam (where I live) is pretty awful, loads of dubstep nights but they are all brofests with shit sound. Amsterdam is amazing though and only an hour by train

2 am here! so shite!
yea, and i see you are in boston, where all public transport shuts down at ... sundown? i walked home 4 miles after addison groove this past spring
might as well be sundown; i think the taxi companies lobby against keeping the T open past 1am.
whatever, it makes going down to nyc every once in a while that much more fun when you realize it's 5am and you're walking out of a party still

'd
edit: not bad-mouthing the scene up here, at all, though! on the contrary, i love it here. we get tons of talent rolling through, and there's equally as many talented locals here
