This is a refreshing change
volume has been covered already if you are looking to make the sound less 'aggressive' try lowering the high end, try some filters etc that should soften it a bit. Some different drum sounds might be effective too.

the way i worded my question was stupid by saying less loud.. i really meant what lowpass said. "less aggressive"
