dubstep for me has always a predominantly live thing so the mc was a big part of it. it seems all the newer fans who dont go to live events are very against mcs, which is fair enough but they are wrong!!!! crazy d is heavy! all about the early days of fwd with crazy d hostin .

not sure where its hosted but the distance + crazy d set from first dubpressure is sick!

I farkin love Crazy, must be wicked to DJ with him on mic - it's such a pleasure to play with an MC that you can properly interact with.

every one has opinions on crazy, which you are entitled to.

but crazy is dubstep. he's been on this since dot, loves the music and is intrinsically part of the sound.

the problem with crazy is that people don't listen hard enough. he gets remembered (and criticized) for his catch phrases. but man has much more than that coming out his mouth.

in the words of crazy d himself: listen!

I think in my case it's not what he's saying, but how. I just don't like his "style". I like calm MCs better than a toaster :)

Have to agree with the majority, D on the mic instantly makes you feel a lot more at home and gives the music all the space it needs, while still providing the night with an excellent middle man for crowd/DJ interaction.

However, I wish he would write more bars. He was great on Worries Again, and I think he could really bring an extra dimension to sets that way.
