i rewire reason in for my pads now lol, you can get some really nice pads off thor

i rewire reason in for my pads now lol, you can get some really nice pads off thor
I use reason as well, but all my pads are just stretched audio clips with phasers and flangers

Ableton's saturator! I don't give a fuck if it's not as good as other saturators. I smack it on everything! Everything.
And Ableton's sampler! Samplers are sick.

wow filter - simple and really good sounding filter, also good for yaws and wahs with the vowel mode.
fabfilter volcano - amazing sounding filter, with crazy modulation capabilities.
tone2 bifilter - again, really good simple and natural sounding filter.

those are probably some of the best and most favorited filtres for electronic music.
