yeah I agree, people just choosing one of the other options might have been more interesting

If EQ wasn't an option, I'd pick reverb.

i would ultimately pick compressors anyway, just because i can still always record and simulate reverb and delay , and you can do a way nicer job of doing so when you can use EQ and compression
so many things are tempting but you gotta select the ones you can't emulate
