Nah, JBL was funny as hell.

When he was kissing babies during his entrance, that's just pure genius.

JBL in "the cabinet" era when he had that pretty much year long title reign was based as fuck, If he'd retired after the wind down from that and never come back from being a colour commentator it would've been better than him coming back to just dick around in the upper midcard for a bit and feud with HBK, although letting him claim "grand slam" status was a good gesture for the 'E to make

I like TNA more, everything looks cooler. WWE turned to shit after Paul Heyman left.

WWE's attempted rebrand of ECW after 2005 was an abortion of a project IMO. Fair play to Heyman for stepping the fuck away when he did.

I've only watched TNA once or twice. The second time it had Hulk fucking Hogan on it. I assumed they were making the classic WCW mistake of nostalgia bookings and didn't bother going back.

The only people that should be paying Hulk Hogan right now are Vivid and the odd pension fund.

They've got Ric Flair in a feud with Hogan & Bishoff FFS, plus Sting is in the mix.

So basically they've got a bunch of 50yr old guys having a feud against a 70yr old guy. Utter waste.

They've got talent like the Motor City Machine Guns, Beer Money, Austin Aries etc etc, guys who are good at what they do and can put together a decent match. If they had 2hrs of Hogan/Sting/et al standing around going "Woah, can't wait to see MGMG vs. Beer Money later", and big that up as their main event, then people would sit up and take notice.

Serious? Amazing. Ric Flair has no idea when to quit, does he? I remember thinking he was too old when he first came into the WWF on that "Real World Champion" shit. He's going to die in a fucking ring someday and we're all going to have to watch. tnuc.

Pretty much this. They may as well of just filmed the queen's corgi's having a fucking fight, it would've been more ECW than the crap they produced. This was the worst thing the WWE ever done, imo.

Yeah its pretty much WCW... Which is cool for me cause I always preferred that over WWE. Booking makes little sense but for me that sense of chaos is interesting. They have Kurt Angle and Mr Kennedy who I mark the fuck out for. I used to be really into the backstage news and shit years back.. But stopped watching for a while and came back.. And its a lot better not knowing shit.. Its even cool to see Steiner and Nash, Bishoff etc. Takes me back to the 90's.

Kurt Angle was a properly good heel...

Eric Bischoff is the Simon Cowell of professional wrestling. I can't stand him. I wish Vinnie Mac had taken him up on that offer of a match...

I only watch TNA cos the PPV's are free on challenge over here, it'd be stupid not to. It's got it's own charm, and some of the talent is amazing, but the writers are so retarded it's untrue. Now Russo has fucked off it remains to see whether it calms down and get's better. It will never stop being about pushing the over 50's gang they've got though, which will why it won't ever be as successful as the wwe. Just putting on nostalgia matches doesn't draw as much as Dixie Carter would like to think, Neither does Adding gratuitous swearing. That's why TNA consistently hits around 1.0 on the Nielsen ratings compared to the current low for the wwe of around 3.0.

don't really follow the indy scene in any of the countries, the most indy I go is Chikara or ROH. i know that a UK Indy worker has just been signed to the WWE developmental who's from leeds. Dunno if he worked with pac before or not though.

Alex Shane was a bit of my FWA hero, not too up to speed with current Indi, let alone British.

PAC is a high flier, no? Last British Indi high Fliers I ever saw we're Fliech & Johnny Storm, they were immense,

Yeah I haven't watched much of it for a while, I know the guy though and saw him go from british indy, to japan (dragon gate) to USA (ring of honour). He's on fire these days...in pro wrestling magazine every issue. It's good to see a brit taking the world by storm.

RoH is sick I used to watch it, some fun gimmicks and crazy matches. Jimmy Jacobs was funny as fuck and you could tell they all love what they doing. I dig some Japanese wrestling, the strongstyle stuff. Makes me cringe some of the moves.
