showed up today bent and warped. i cant drop it from the edge because of a bend that throws the needle back across the pond.
reordered through redeye with about four other records. sucks though, cuz i wanted to play it out this saturday.
curses.

I think that more records arrive fuxxored and warped when it's humid or hot outside (aka summer)...I had a few plates sitting near a window on a relatively humid day for just an hour or so, and they went all wavy gravy on me with a quickness...had to bury 'em under the rest of the 12's to get their shape back.
Maybe some kind of climate-control type seal for all record-shipping bags is necessary????

absolute truth.
mine was more creased than warped. the wavy gravy is bad, but its more like someone crammed it between a few boxes and bent it in the process.. put a nice crease in it. i have about a million pounds on top of it right now to try and get the crease out enough to drop it on saturday.
its just one of those things. not a big deal.
this one track is turning out to cost $30.

I can just see the arm of the turntable flying of the plate the first time its rewound...ouch.
