kromestar tearout is kinda like Tunnidge's stuff imo, it just doesnt sound great at home but when you hear it on a system it just completely changes your opinion of it. I used to think Tunnidge was seriously over-rated until I heard Distance & Cyrus drop a few of his dubs one time I saw them live, massive bass

Noiz sounds like an Excision tune.

^The only thing similar to Noiz in that is the way a synth hit rises in pitch. That tune is also filled with tons of loud screeching brostep lines and little bass. There's tons of other shit going on in that tune and it sounds way too compressed.

Tunnidge is DEFINITELY NOT overrated - he's amazing. And I've only ever hears his tunes on car speakers or cans

not for me, and i tend to avoid those kind of tunes "on a system" as well if they come on. just a preference though aint it. really like the growler though, might just get that.

i like tunnidge, sonika's validated me there

If you already think Tunnidge's stuff is amazing from just hearing on headphones, you wait till you hear his stuff on a system

All of the weight in the world couldn't save this tune from sounding generic. That's not even an insult, sets need filling.

I'm neutral on this matter, but I would like if Kromestar would release some less aggy tunes, along the lines of his tunes on Cosmic Bridge and with Jay 5ive. Alone was a great, non-aggy tune he released, and Creeper and Old Face could do with a vinyl release (despite being freebies, but Alone was free for a bit too).

you're right. i look it as a tune you use to bridge a gap between deeper/dungeon sounds & tearout

its a filler, definitely not a tune for chinstroking thats for sure (even though there is a shitload of chinstroking going on in here)

I used to hate it, but the drums are causing it to grow on me, but the midrange is too much (not in a good way.)

I never said noiz is a shitty tune, but it is midrangey and distorted sounding. Just like stuff on Rottun.

I listen to a lot from Rottun. As I listen to a lot of deeper labels. I don't think either is better or worse, just different IMO.

But it's so silly when a tune like this comes out and it gets respect, but Rottun is easily one of the least respected labels on this forum...
Plenty of shit tunes on Rottun or anywhere else that sound "Banging on a system", like i said, pretty much ANYTHING brostep and all sounds huge on a system. Noiz does sound big ob my 2 15"s, but no bigger than most anything else I thrown on there, bro or not.

The point of this thread was not to hate on Noiz, but point out how bias and hypocritical most of this forum is.

Post midrange-y tune by midrange-y bro prodycer --> Tune gets hated on.
Post midrange-y tune by deep, old school producer ---> "Nahh man you just need to hear it on a system" giantsoundsystem.jpeg

Don't add up.

ive been in both raves for the deeper sounds & bro-y sounds..... and trust, 99.87% of bro producers have no understanding of the words 'sub bass', something which is kinda paramount when it comes to producing 'dubstep'
