Thankfully I've never watched Powerpuff girls to know what any of that means.
Transmetropolitan fan fiction is usually a giggle, if only for the fact that most of it misses the mark spectacularly.

How much dose studio time cost you guys?
Hah paying for studio time...what is it 1998?
As inconvenient as it can be, I've always kinda fancied payin for studio time. I think if you'd paid for a fixed time in the studio, you'd rattle through shit. Cause when you're just in your bedroom (as I would assume a majority of folk on here are) it's so easy for your workflow to go to shit.
To get your head clear and work in a different environment that would be helpful. Otherwise these days for recording vocals I'd definitely recommend paying for studio time. Just make sure you have the lyrics/tempo/key/beats sorted beforehand so when you get in there you can get right into laying down vocal takes. If you're serious about the tune, it's well worth the money for access to the mics and recording booth alone! In fact it's pretty cheap these days (some places) due to studios needing to compete with bedroom setups. Plus it's a good way to make some connections.

5. Repeat

This is my life

Read watch videos about production/mixing/music making/music producers/music mixers/music makers...
Whole life I've been doing a little of everything, and now I'm like monodimensional. It is a sickness, this music thing.

Yeah I literally have nothing left but a couple producer friends...aside from going to classes and a few gigs I haven't really left the house in 6 months. Doesn't really bother me either to be honest, I knew what I was getting into. But after spending the last half year mentally battling with my creativity almost exclusively, I can totally see how reclusive artists go insane. You get so buried in your own ideas that everything else in life starts losing value, to the point where-for me-it's hard to take any aspect of the "real world" seriously. Everything is either another step to finishing a song or it's worthless.
Healthy mindset, I know.

Nature documentaries are always quality for me too...Tribe, Wild China, Amazon (all BBC, fiyah) are lush to watch and usually have quality background music on them.
And in a constant state of rewatching The Wire

Everything in moderation...friends especially. I think I'd lose it if my only contact with friends was mostly about production stuff. I need that anchor in my life...plus non-production heads make great sounding boards. Bounce out a few tracks with a rough mastering job, burn a CD then head over to my mate's house for a beer and some feedback in a background ambient kinda vibe.

I know 0 producers in my local area. I'd like to meet some, cause I find hanging out with regular people just does not satisfy me anymore. There is very little people say that has any interest to me at all. haha, fucking depressing sounding, but it is for reals.

Haha it's the same for me man, it's like "if you don't want to talk to me about music, what do you want to know? I literally have no other interests at the moment to speak of." Like relationships, drama and all that stuff is just so far removed from where my head's at right now that I can't even pretend to care.
