French fries and vinegar with salt is std fare.
We call them slap chips.
Slap pronounced slup.

It's an afrikaans word for floppy.
So they're floppy chips.

Using the name 'French fries' should be forbidden. It should be either fries, chips or even Belgian fries. Why would you call it french fries when its place of origin is Belgium??????
