heheh, I was thinking you either did that or you had multiple people finger snap or maybe you have more than 2 arms like a machamp  It's cool to slow down snaps/claps because of the staggered/flam/slapback delay-esque sound. It kinda blew my mind the first time I slowed down an 808 clap.
Also, I keep playing that snare you made over and over again. It's killing me  It sounds like this Sega Genesis golf game I have when you hit the ball into the sand. Note to self: sample golf games for ambience 8)

I believe I told you this before in the Sound Design // FM Synthesis // Foley // Field Recording thread ;-)
For the stuff that I posted in this thread, I used a Tascam 1800 and a Behringer C3 Condenser Mic.
Project EX wrote:@wormcode: I'd be interested, if you're willing to share, in knowing how you got into the foley work.

If you really want squishy textures like that try and find the left for dead 2 sound files! i remember playing that game for the first time and just thinking of all the sounds that could be used from it

Project EX: i really hope this thread doesnt die out! maybe to make it more convenient for people to download all the samples you could copy all the links people have posted to the first post?

Yeah hope it wont aswell. I haven't contributed the last couple of days, been busy with a new ongelegen pack.
Good idea, I'll look into it, right now I'm thinking ordering the links by category so it's easy to find the stuff you're looking for.

Haha true mate  . @ the affordable field recorder thread here Jrisreal told me to go to the hardware store to record samples. Jrisreal is a genius. Never thought of doing it. (at the bottom of the page)

we were at the hardware store yesterday recording all kinds of shit, gonna have to sift through the recordings today.
there will be tons and tons of background noise because of the other customers, the music in the background and shit.
was a proper adventure, the store's HUGE. one of the employees said its 22000 square metres, and the fact that he and the others were driving what looked like a crossbreed between segway and forklifter makes me believe him.
the store even has a drive-in (as in driving around inside the store) section

anyway prepare for metal pipes, chainsaws, shitty german commercials and loadsa background noise
