Like every other type of music is seems, these sounds will always be around. I don't really tire of them tbh, and they always go down a treat round these parts.
I wasn't keen on the example in the original post but this is more like it...
I was playing the whole Surburban Base discography earlier this summer. Not to sure if I'd be okay with seeing a hardcore dj using DVS or a controller / laptop either, just sounds the idea of Jamaican toasting but using using autotune

kind of a shit tune if you ask me, but right when that synth comes in at :47, i couldnt help but think of this thread
I opened this thread with this tune in mind... I've been really feeling all of the TNGHT stuff to date, but not convinced on this one, it's a bit too much on the chavvy side of hardcore IMO...
Now this, on the other hand
That really does it for me, I was always a sucker for a helium vocal though.
Loads of the Trap type stuff is really hardcore influenced which can either be a really good thing or a really terrible thing, hardcore always walked a very fine line between credible and chavvy, personally, almost anything that called itself hardcore after 1997 was a bit shit.

Hardcore & Jungle will never die fully, it's just in the UK's blood now, it's here forever as a part of our culture. I still love a 90s hardcore influence cos thats how I got into electronic music (not actually in the 90s, too young, but its the first kind of electronic music I really loved).
Making proper darkside '93 style and releasing it on vinyl in 2013! What a guy. Thanks go to whoever linked me to it in the Jungle thread, you're a boss.
