Big up to mel and hannah and everyone involved in organising this. It was a brilliant party! Shame I couldn't play because my laptop wouldn't work, but such is life. Could have done with a little less arrogance from Chris the proprietor, but I'm sure he's a perfectly nice guy when he's not stressed out. Sound systems were good, the vibe was good. We're all waiting for the next one!
PS The laughing gas was a nice touch too

PPS Bringing my bike seemed like a lot less of a clever idea when i tried to get home and cycled into a bush. damn stationary objects.

But yeah you have a good point.
I've just looked in my bag and found a CDR with Metalbox written on it that contains around 10 tracks of high quality dubstep. Cheers mate. I was utterly wasted all night. What an ace night though. I know I met a load of folks off here but I really can't be sure who. Appologies to all.

I'd love to reach the next one of these. Love going to the squat raves in 'ackney. The one I went to on NYE last year was so hectic. I swear they would have a similar thing to this event. Wish I had the contact details...
Anyway, how did people hear about this? I am there for the next one...

What part of hackney was it. Belfast Rd used to have some really good party's but, they've been shut down. Andre St has a couple of venue's Tuder Grove some times has party's and then there's the Wick.

I remember going to a place in Andre St a few years ago called Hugo's Speaker Palace, which was ace, even if the music wasn't. but that got shut down just a few months after we found it.
This was right next to Hackney Wick station on white posts lane. Is there still a squat in the old Mill in the Millfields on the way to Leytonstone? I went there once and remember it being pretty good. I get the impression though that a lot of places like this are shutting down though I would have though the smoking ban would mean that more people would want to do this...

Andre St is still doing nights. Think there are 2 venues up there. Not sure about Milfields though. Bare places doing night's though. A mate of mine owns a big warehouse up in totenham that would be a good place to have a party. It's called the Where House. I played up there a few month's ago. If it were to do a DubStep event it would have to beef up the sound sytem.

It was right near Wick station, about two roads away. Massive gaf where people lived and hosted parties to pay the rent. I was so mashed it was outrageous....
