Some reverse breath mint action then :)

Guess SA is a little different when it comes to beer.
'Cause 5% is what I buy in 24 bottle crates.

never was a fan of any asian beer outside of some really delicious japanese beers like koshihikari echigo, most of what hitachino produces and the iwate kura oyster stout. other than that it tastes like yellow water.

BTW, do Belgians ever get spoiled from living in beerheaven? Good god, I mean so many top-notch beers come from your country... you guys are to beer what Jamaica is to popular music - a small country with an extraordinary output & influence. :D

Beer is an institution here... Don't really drink anything else anymore. Favourites are Orval, tripel Westmalle, triple Karmeliet (although almost impossible to find down south don't know where you get yours from mIrReN !) Chimay blue.

as I said before, I know a guy whose done the whole Belgian beer book (you get one for free every place you buy one if I'm correct)
but it's lovely though I think any Belgian can agree that living here is lovely and enough to taste and always something to find according to your specific taste
we have more than beer tho, lot's more :D

Chimay Blue? In the colruyt, whole crates...

Nah I was talking about Karmeliet. Some friends told me you have to go straight to the abbey and that you're limited to 1 crate or something, kinda like Orval in sept-october this year. Highly doubt that but I still can't find it anywhere

Forgot about Leffe aswell ! top beer

My grandfathers name is Omer as well as my second name, he bought/gave me one (or two) almost everytime I've seen him, ever since he tasted it.

Gotta plan another trip to Brugge. We went there last year, think we went to 6 different bars on a wednesday :)
Was all fun until some guy threw an empty bottle of scotch at a bartender.

Love them.
And they're strong.

Thai beer available in most places it seems.
I can get it here in SA but not in big bottles.

Wow someone who actually likes Chang :o
Most Thais don't even like it. Each to their own :)

The only southeast Asian beer i can hack is Beer Laos
Image
Beer laos is great!
+1 on Thai people not drinking Chang though. II only saw the locals drinking singha and tiger for the most part when I visited. The touristy places like siem reap and koh Samui and Phuket always had huge Chang ads everywhere though

The most popular domestic beer in Thailand is Leo, it's vile.

Blei stil jou teef

I enjoy singha and when you drink it in the context of Thai weather out of large bottles bought from the 24 hr 7/11 in 4 packs, you don't complain.
And I enjoyed it when hot.
Tasted good to me.
Heineken drinker normally.
Also a fan of Windhoek.
