Elijah and Skilliam, Royal-T and Swindle now on rotation every Sunday. Hmmmm although their sets are pretty similar seems rinse are cutting down on grime a fair bit.

tbf their sets aren't really that similar. royal t plays alot of stuff that's a bit harder (to hard for me tbh) and swindle spends a fair bit of time playing straight jazz/funk if I remember correctly.
It's a shame though, is the new schedule on their website?
royal t's most recent set was sick though, royal t's eski tribute>>>>>>>

Yeah I get you, they all have their own sort of styles they lean towards, royal-T - garage, swindle - funk etc. but it's the same kind of grime really. A lot of the same tunes are played. Not that I'm complaining as I really like that stuff. But yeah sad that Elijah and Skilliam aren't weekly anymore.

Wasn't down to Rinse cutting down on Grime, more about us being busy.
Royal-T still lives in Southampton and it isn't practical to travel up every week at the same time as doing shows and trying to make music. He did it for nearly a year, but doing a fewer amount of shows will keep things focused.
Swindle has been really busy too playing in the band with Mala Live and doing his own shows and working on different projects.
Myself I've been working on a few different projects so having less radio will help me focus on those.
I'd say the way we play is further apart than ever.
All its going to do is make the radio shows better, even though there are less.
Up to some other people outside of Butterz to step up now anyway

Sure man. Especially agree with it being time for others to step up to the plate. Just seems like there's less hours of grime per week on rinse than ever before (well apart from the ban maybe). And sure will only improve the shows if they're monthly - will make each show more varied.

Who you suggest they get on?

Would like someone like Terror Danjah to have a show and Slimzee back again would be great too. Be good if some newer talent could get shows as well - you'll know better candidates than me im sure.Thing is you guys have been killing it for last 2/3 years so butterz stuff really is the most exciting part of grime at the moment so its no wonder the producers you've been pushing are getting shows now.

1. slackk
2. kahn
3. someone that will regularly feature different mcs. don't really care if it's grime or garage. rinse needs more of that imo (inb4 bbk/newham gens is enough).
