Just like a lot of other people already said: I'd take the pill if my body stopped ageing at like 35 and stayed in perfect health (this includes the brain).
So basicly as if the clock stopped for your body. Also the option to kill myself whenever I want to.

People who wouldn't want to do it under those conditions are liars.

Sure you'll see your friends die and it will be sad and what not, but think of all the stuff you will be able to witness in the future.
Also your friends won't be able to live on mars, but you will so fuck them really.

You're right but the question loses interest if it's not binding. Most people are going to say ah yeah sound take the pill fuck it off if I don't like it but the proposition needs to be made of firmer stuff.

oh god no. max 100 years is perfect i think. you know it's that nice inbetween where it feels like a long time, but as you age and go over the peak, you feel the clock winding down..

i take a strange comfort in that. i'm also one of the few twenty somethings who can't wait to be old and host my fancy dress cocktail parties.
