This movie idea just popped into my head.

Opening scene. Closeup of man's face on eye-level. Rest of face is out of sight. Dilated pupils, vacant eyes. Bright, whiteish lights quickly passing over his face. Loefah - It's Yours is playing loudly, over the faint purr of an engine. Change shot to an over-the-shoulder angle, with a car interior as a frame for the image of the motorway whooshing towards the screen at frightening speed. It's pitch black outside what the headlights and passing lampposts illuminate. Few or no other cars on the road. Blue lights on the dashboard. Cool contrast of slow, crawling music with fast driving. Silhouetted, he lowers a cigarette from his mouth, with one hand on the steering wheel. The shot lingers. The motorway is a modern, elevated one with tall concrete barriers on both sides of the road, so the surroundings are unclear

Another good film adaption of Umberto Eco's fiction:

- Baudolino with Guillermo del Toro at the helm. Could go pretty crazy score/soundtrack wise indeed it presents the chance to break plenty of conventions period wise.
- The Prague Cemetery with Roman Polanski directing. Would like a modern soundtrack but one would be obliged to choose music from the period of the novels setting (19th century Europe).
- Foucalt's Pendulum. This would be difficult to adapt well for film, but it would be my choice. I wouldn't have a clue who to choose for production roles either.

I think about this subject a lot.

Writer/Director: Jodorowsky
Because I would like to see him put a dark twist on his form of shamanism/therapy which he calls 'psychomagic'. It's basically a form of unconscious 'dream therapy'. All kinds of bad shit lurks inside people's minds that they themselves often don't even realise.

Writer/Cinematographer: David Lynch
I don't think he has much interest in directing any more, and is more or less a 'student' of Jodorowsky in ways so I'd love to see an actual collaboration. Not many people are as much of a perfectionist when it comes to specific shots or sets. Films need more of that meticulous attention to detail that keeps me watching again to notice new things.

Spring Breakers wasn't 1/2 bad, right? I guess whatever movie we're in the "Process", but the last scene has gotta be Cat Power and Soiree getting married, and fireworks go off, as Daft Punk explores the parameters of what is possible in a live show, Maybe add Taranto for the quick witted sharp tongue dialogue...

I really enjoyed the RICK ROSS music, horse back ridding scene in DJANGO, That was a very important movie that sorta primed people for all the new music of now days///
