Hated this entire thing since first seeing it. They had all these hype videos with fake news broadcasters and shit, was SO corny. Everyone was commenting "I LUV DESTROID" before they even released any music. Then they did and... it sounded like every other generic piece of crap. (No surprise there).

I like the idea, it's just executed (hehehe) so fucking terribly. So over-hyped. I'm all for theatrics but this is just pointless. Just the 3 of them making the same generic crap they normally make, just pretending to "play" it with fancy costumes on. It's safe to assume all their fans think they are creating all this shit live (granted those same people think DJing is producing music live as well).

After their first show I could only find that video *they* uploaded that was just cut together clips, found this online... so sad.



If they had a concept behind the music, it might be nice. If they had a whole different sound. They don't. It's the same crap.

don't get all the hate. they're raking it in, whether by personal or corporate volition, those kids in the audience look like they're having a blast, and they aren't claiming to represent any of the "dubstep" heritage that y'all are so desperately clinging to.

edit: most ableton-triggered performances are boring as shit. i really appreciate the whole notion of spicing them up with cool controllers and stuff.
