I fucking hate retail.

This is kind of the opposite situation, but ill still post it here
I am staying with some relatives on the west coast of the US (I am from the midwest) this summer, and when my relatives are at work I will just roam around newport and its beach with my skateboard very bum-like. For the past week I have had to take monster shits in the morning, and I chose a subway right where I get dropped off. For the past 5 days I have walked into the subway at 7:30 AM, causing the employee to drop whatever they were doing to open the store, and frantically get the shit required to make subs together, a real pain in the ass (I know because I used to work at a subway and opened many times). Meanwhile I spend 15 minutes in the bathroom on my phone, accidentally clogging the toilet, and then booking it without making eye contact with the employee who is glaring holes into the back of my skull. I put the mens bathroom out of order for a day, and so used the womens instead for that time (they private single person bathrooms).

Today there was a "no skateboards" sign, and another sign that said "bathrooms for customers only"

I thought it was hilarious.

^LOL. Not judging you, but yea...those guys totally hate you ;p

I get asked constantly about public restrooms at the leather store. I can't lie and say we don't have a restroom because that totally doesn't make sense, but I constantly get questioned about why they can't use it. And I really want to be like "Look, I don't own the place, it's not my rules, go piss at the gas station..."

And when I explain that we have a lot of sewing machines and other equipment back there and it's a insurance issue in multiple different ways they look at me like I'm the dick....

my brother in law used to work at kmart. he said he would get that all the time. trying to tell people that its not safe to let them use it due to insurance etc.

so some guy comes in with his kid, asks to use the toilet, gets denied & ends up having a go at my brother in law because of it. he then says "fine" and fucks off.

later on in the night when they were cleaning up before closing, someone said there was a bad smell coming from the kids toys area. they went to check it out and there was MASSIVE shit in one of the playhouses.

they got security to check the cameras & that same guy had come back 5 minutes later and told his kid to take a shit in the playhouse.

i lol'd.

^WOW. I'm not even surprised TBH...at the Univs I teach at, there are piles of shit laying on the bathroom floor on a regular basis...I think because these jack-ass-y college kids think it's funny to fuck with the janitors (no offense to college students on DSF...but if you are at Uni...you know what I mean I'm sure)...
