Nice one, it's a shame how this forums turned out, I pretty much stopped using it because of all the bullshit attitudes on here, and it outweighed the nice people that just want to talk production and help eachother out. I came back once to post about a studio monitor decision and I had virtual mark be condescending and plain difficult when I was just trying to help the OP out with a decision I would have liked some help with when I first started looking for monitors. I'm pleased you've posted this Pete!

Nah, I think the forum rebounded like crazy and i t's been better than it was in a long time for the last few months. There are just some real shit stirrers here that get a rise out of people.

And nothing against SunkLo cuz I do like him, but by making that thread he did make it worse than it should've been. By giving in to the shit stirrers and jumping them collectively it's less about production talk and more about ego. You keep the quality high by just ignoring shitty posts (I should ignore them more too). But when you forget about the loud minority that occasionally drags it down, I think it's a top place to learn about production again.

That's good to hear, I've not used it enough to see it's been better but will def be using it more now.

Yeah dunno if that was the best choice but it did seem to keep him out of the other threads that were being derailed, so mission accomplished on that front at least.

I also agree the forum's gotten a bit better the last little while (minus the recent events). Not as great as a couple years ago when lots of heads were still around, but at least it's an upward trend.
