Lots of good shouts here, people have said the obvious ones like Madlib, Burial etc. James Blake maybe? He definitely has some tunes like I Only Know which I don't think anyone else could even dream of making.

And Luke Envoy deserves a shout solely for his Hotflush release.

hahaha, just my opinion man. they both did something quite original which to my ears sounded great. skream was the reason i got into electronic music and death grips resulted in my avatar the first time i heard them hueheu

Haha, nah, Skream! is a quality album, just feel like the foundation was already well laid for him by other dubsteppers.

And I just don't like Death Grips so maybe they are geniuses to you.

Are we talking last decade as in up to 2003. Cos quite a few ppls list gets shorter if we are imo.

In dubstep i reckon Kode9, Pinch and Mala. Not only are they really talented producers, they run strong and varied labels.
