Too cheap a player IMO, his damage way out does his slugishness.Johnlenham wrote:Haha yes! Zangeif and Sagat are my favs.Nevalo wrote:nah, zengeif is the best. his ultra is a 1 hit kill. master him and you cannot be stopped.
Blasphemy.Nevalo wrote:LOL killer instinct was so shit.
Yeah, but she wasn't hampered by being a fat fuck. Plus she had the Spinning Bird Kick, that a nifty little throw and her victory animation has been indelibly inked on my mind since I was 10.wub wrote:Same could be said for Chun-Li's kick thoughmagma wrote:First character I ever played as, because the 100-Hand-Slap was so easy to pull off.southstar wrote:No love for Honda?
Rubbish.

You're a better gamer than I. People that actually got how to use Yoshimitsu were seemingly unstoppable.rayman612 wrote:i like yoshimitsumagma wrote:Soul Calibur - Sophitia

they toned his speed down in alpha 2, i mean i could kick the shit out of him with sakura (and shes bottom tier)Pedro Sánchez wrote: Too cheap a player IMO, his damage way out does his slugishness.
I used to play 3rd strike on ggpo but since they released the online console version, I switched to that but 3rd strike is my fave of the series and K.O.F. Garou: Mark of the Wolves is a percy that I bash now and then.deadly habit wrote:He was introduced in Super Street Fighter II Turbowolf89 wrote:Akuma isn't in any of the "original" Street Fighter II releases I'm assuming Jaydot is talking about

Every version of SF has its tier lists though.
Street Fighter III: Third Strike is still the best SF though.
Still prefer the King of Fighters series when it comes to fighting games.
Hell SNK had some glorious fighters like Garou: Mark of the Wolves.
Any of you guys play fighters on PC?
There's always Supercade and GGPO for the classics and Steam for the modern ones.
It added the turbo feature which speed up the game.jaydot wrote:Boring player imo.Pedro Sánchez wrote:Too cheap a player IMO, his damage way out does his slugishness.Johnlenham wrote:Haha yes! And also, why was Turbo thus named. It didn't appear any faster.
They had nothing on Dead or Alive.southstar wrote:I liked the physics in soul caliburmagma wrote:Soul Calibur - Sophitia
Always up for some matches, my fightstick collects too much dust..Pedro Sánchez wrote:I used to play 3rd strike on ggpo but since they released the online console version, I switched to that but 3rd strike is my fave of the series and K.O.F. Can't imagine anything worse than attempting to play a fighter on a pc. What do you use for a controller? Guessing there's some arcade style sticks out there or something?deadly habit wrote:He was introduced in Super Street Fighter II Turbowolf89 wrote:Akuma isn't in any of the "original" Street Fighter II releases I'm assuming Jaydot is talking about

For competitive play you can use a arcade fightstick (joystick), they are costly but feature real arcade parts and you learn the game, how it was designed to be played.wolf89 wrote:Can't imagine anything worse than attempting to play a fighter on a pc. What do you use for a controller?

I rate Street Fighter Alpha 3 as the best. 3rd Strike is definitely one of the best though. Just not a fan of some of the characters on it.
SNK had fucking silly numbers of good fighters actually. Got an original Neo Geo AES shipped over from Japan for that purpose actually. Games are all either the same price or new ones or shoot up to silly money very quickly though so I've been a bit slack on getting stuff for it.
