yunx & cru keep doin ur thing.
skream/benga - if they released some old dubs in a collab EP i would love that. won't happen i'm sure but it would be pretty sick. otherwise, tbh i really enjoyed the latest stella sesh. if skream had a timeslot on rinse playing that disco/deep/tech stuff, i would listen. benga, i dunno whut to tell u m8 looks like you need to find a niche cos chapter II semi-bro is gonna get u nowhere in 2014.

More genres named after the tempo because I've been working 152 and 124. A little bit of 89 too.

Less shitty analogue based tunes being held up in high regard because they've been made with analogue kit.

Im not even a big fan of 130 and this argument is so tired and trivial. When someone says 130 you know what they're talking about. That's the term that stuck. Unless you can find a better word for it that everyone in the scene picks up, you're going to have to deal with it.

Have people been actually arguing about it.
What do you think about the 149?

The whole 130 thing is as bad as the dungeon thing.
I was fine with the dungeon thing, I knew what type of tune it was by someone saying it was dungeon. It served its purpose, same as 130 will serve its purpose.

More space. More drums with actual feel & funk in them. More Signal Life. Hyperreal to come out.

Some kind of rave music that's as hype as jungle
130 is getting there in some areas but it's still quite beholden to heady, Burial type of vibes. That's all well and good of course, but where are the tunes that roll out as intense as this:

I love a lot of the 130 stuff, but no way is it even near as hype as jungle.

please tell me more about this original argument you have
I would like to see an embargo on dubstep vinyl now, until we can get our shit together and prove there's something worthwhile. Inb4 LAS, inb4 Innamind, inb4 somebody else that's meant to be exciting but isn't. there should be very few exceptions to the embargo.

Juke is close to the hype levels of jungle imo.
