I really don't see you getting much legit advice here regarding labels. Just not the kind of vibe I see here. More younger starting out producers now. There are some heads about, but I don't think this thread is a good look. Maybe they'll pm you.

But, there are very knowledgeable people in the snh. But if you come with bad vibes, I don't expect a strong response. I'd completely omit this whole controversy, mention that you've had some big label releases, and are interested in what is going on now.

Considering your own dealings with the label and people in question which you were telling me in private, I don't understand why are you are asking me not to discuss such an important concern for new producers?
Because my personal experiences spoken to someone privately versus opinions publicly aired on a forum funded by someone elses money and reputation should be kept separate.
I don't know what having two releases has to do with why I should shut up about them ripping me off? So I havent made tracks for a while? Does that mean I cant say what they did?
Not sure how you drew that conclusion from what I said, but as far as I'm concerned the number of releases you have had is irrelevant to to your ability to publicly slander something else.
Please can you suggest any smaller labels to send my tracks to? (Best case, it would eventually lead to being signed to a big label again) - either way I'd like to hear who producers can recommend?
Going to nights is always your best route to making contacts and so on. Labels such as Mindstep, Slime and Boka would be good places. Have a scan through
http://www.dubstepforum.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=47 see which releases resemble yours and hit up those artists and labels.
Dealing with the public and promoting myself isn't my forte.

And I've got no idea who people think is best to send their Dubstep tracks to these days...?
You gotta do the research:
1. Find labels with similar sound
2. Reach out to artists on the label or go to the nights with a couple of cds.
3. Find out about previous experiences on the label.
4. Should a label be interested, review your contract and payment options.

If a label is totally safe then they wont ever have to worry about disgruntled artists. Its good business to treat people right. Sorry some peeps don't like me saying about my beef. but Ive said it now...
If someones not going to sign one of my tracks because I revealed some legit stink, then Im sorry but is it any loss?
Im looking for any labels supportive of the Artists instead of another Label Monopoly dead-end.

I agree again man. I really don't have edgey vibes usually haha, Im one of the most tollerant people I know. Fact is it's been five years and I thought it was about time I said something. Its done now yeah over with...
Trouble with posting is words can come over too strongly sometimes when read. I'm genuinely very happy and trying to make new tracks with a positive flow. And I wanted to help new peeps too to know the pitfalls.

No doubt. Would be better to not name names, but carry the message, that you need to get your deals in writing.
I would like to point out that in the states, there are statutory damages of $150,000 available for wanton copyright infringement. That is above any actual damages.
And I agree, I think we should be able to speak freely. If the forum is open, you could state your case, and the label could as well, if they cared to. But this is not a free forum. This is a for profit private property.

And if you did live in the states, you probably couldn't afford to pay for it with your small income and high overhead, so would be failing to pay your taxes, a crime that is punishable.

if you want some smaller labels to try sending tunes to, try annihilate audio, phantom hertz, gradient audio, dubsludge records, dubtribu records or digital weapons for example but there are loads more
