psytrance is about getting fucked on some lsd b2b mandy cocktail and having a good time. community is friendly and vibes all around. music is shit, but works incredibly well with mdma. it's really fun.

One thing I will say about psy-trance raves, no matter how shitty the club, they ALWAYS had a stall or bar section selling chai tea and fruit. Nothing like a cup of chai and banana at 5am when you've been dancing all night.

I dunno, I've always had a great time at psytrance parties. First rave I ever went to was Tribe of Frog in Bristol, way back before Lakota got closed and the smoking area was huge and covered in mattresses. Safe to say it blew my tiny mind. Music is shit of course, but vibes are on point, especially in the chill out rooms where they usually play ambient/dub techno, sometimes even a bit of dub reggae. Lovely people, nos, chai tea and a big spliff...Wonderful.

tribe of frog put on a Psy area at boomtown and it looked so nice but the music just drove me away most of the time
