You at work and you outside of it are the same person, the two-facedness is very Machiavellian.

Not entirely. There's no maliciousness behind it, nor am I necessarily trying to get ahead of other people through any means other than sheer ability. It just that there are easier ways and there are harder ways to get certain things done. Neither of which need to involve lying or underhanded dealings. I believe that resorting to lying to get ahead at work/life is...inelegant.

On a related note, on a 360 personality test, my reports, peers and superiors assigned me completely different sets of personality traits, although the answers within each tier were completely consistent.

anyone take the follow up test about the cross sections of 3d objects? that was more interesting but they didnt show any results

I'm convinced some of the answers weren't quite right or they'd drawn the cuts slightly off.

i had the same feeling, it was hard to tell how that pink bordered plane was really angled and so the cuts did seem off yeah
