No really, what the fuck is people's problem with him? Is it because it's popular? Is it because it's bright and melodic and not too po faced? Are people old and still convinced everything on warp should sound like 10 year old IDM albums?

Yeah well the problem is when someone isn't giving a good reason as to why they dislike something.

I can justify anything I like or don't like. Nic for example is just calling everything bro and that's about it. He never explains why something is good or bad just spews out meme level phrases

I'm not sure what image you guys have of me really? I like a lot of different shit. I don't just listen to pretentious shit or whatever. Look at what I was saying about Chief Keef. If music does it's purpose very well it's good. I like serious stuff and dumb stuff and the two back each other up. Andrew WK - I Get Wet is one of my favorite albums for fuck's sake

People seriously need to make fun of stuff. I mean in the context of artistry.

Like Terry Gilliam or something.

I'm speechless because people have been retorting to your anti-[insert artist here] tyrades much in the same way.

Nah because I will actually discuss why I think something is shit and debate it. I can say why I don't like Bonobo for example. Just going Hudmo = bro makes no sense. Especially when it doesn't contain any elements of brostep nor is made with the same attitude.

You're doing the same thing other people are doing, except using more words. You're still "debating" based personally subjective value judgements. This isn't science or politics or philosophy.

If someone says that they don't like HudMo because it's bro to them, what else do you need? I can see why it could be construed as bro to them, even if it doesn't soound like it to me. Hyped up half time dancefloor tunes with a lot of midrange.

I want to know how the fuck it's bro? The production style isn't there, the aesthetic isn't there, the general attitude isn't there. I want to hear an actual explanation not some half arsed answer. If you just go "it's bro" it gives the impression that you're just worried about your image regarding taste instead of having a real reason. If you can explain why it's not to your taste I'm fine or give enough of a reason as to why it's bad I'll be happy to read it. If you can't talk about it properly you're just some boring drone following trends. "bro" "five panel" "dungeon" aren't good reasons to say an artist is bad even if it's an applicable way of describing it. There's gotta be an actual reason the music is bad to you

The mistake you're making is taking something Incnic has said seriously

I believe he honestly either doesn't know enough about music or is too worried about people's perceptions of his taste to ever talk seriously about music. Even when he posts something he likes he'll start joking saying that he hopes it doesn't go "five panel" or something

You entirely missed the point. I was saying that Nic seems to be too afraid to talk in any depth about music and that it could be one of the reasons
