Not of russian descent as such but findland was part of russia a long time ago.
and they have fuck all to do with gypo indians. origins lie with some peoples living in what's now poland and russia or something like that iirc
hugarians are the ones who may have descended from asians but that's debatable as there's no concrete link between the huns and mongolians

i have to disagree about the swedish. i mean there's a certain emotional climate towards sweden that is best described by what Harkat said in the first page found in finland as well.. but that's mostly shared by our equivalent of chavs and people who are really passionate about ice hockey. i for one like the country very much

and i'm actually possibly even a tiny bit proud that there are so many great artists and producers coming out of finland.
what it comes to finnish music being weird well yes we have lots of "experimental" musicians such as mika vainio. but i'd also like to remind that these are all finnish
