[quote="auralassassin"]I'm not trying to start cross board drama, you twit.

I'm saying that there is some ignorance, and someone who is better educated on the history, and the happenings of DUBSTEP would be a good idea to have at DOA...

and SINCE THEN, there have been roughly 10 mixes, and even a few tracks posted over there in that thread, and I've personally had 15+PM's asking me about booking info, and where to find more mixes by the likes of Joe Nice, Skream, etc...

20 people who didn't like dubstep, they still don't like dubstep... 15 people who had never heard of dubstep are now hooked on Dubstep...

what did we lose? Nothing.

what did we gain? 15 new buyers, listeners, promotors... am I sorry for that? NO. I'm not. I'd do it again, and will do it again. I'll put out mixes, tracks and spread the word to everyone who will hear me... anyone who gives half a fuck about dubstep will be wearing it like a badge and pushing it on everyone who wants to listen... and if they don't want to listen, you still take a shot at them anyway--because you never know who will be a convert.

I'm not sorry at all, in the slightest... in fact, I'l glad I did it. I'm glad that we've had 5+ people sign up for this forum from over there, simply because I posted the address in an argument... I'm glad that someone came here from there and the first post they made was asking about "how to buy dubstep mp3's"

I think I'll be able to sleep at night knowing that a little bit of drama got over 1000 views on a forum, and is STILL at the top of that forum today... still getting views, still getting discussion, still winning new souls for our cult... thats what this shit is. It's a virus... it attacks every other sound out, takes the good, drops the bad, takes the listeners of other genres and makes them submit to the rhythm... Sorry? Not at all.

the dubstep good samaritan..WTF FOR? ...fuck em !!! let people just be people..
auralassassin wtf r u doing ?? NOT BANDWAGON JUMPIN ARE YOU ?!

people, arguing about the drama is drama
which is exactly why these threads should stay on doa

whoever youre trying to prove a point to, do it constructively. if you have to do it at all :)

"I liked the Lime interview where he was like 'yeah, it kind of is SHIT that it has a name now, because once something has a name everyone can jump aboard and start saying about how it is either Total Gay or Total Safe.

When in fact it's just music".

I like this, I didnt read beyond this post coz he said it all

the irony is that in the burial interview i did there was a bit i didnt include where i suggested DOA is like a million boys shouting at each other at the same time in a darkened room, none of them listening to each other.

and there is it, a 16 page "STFU! ... no YOU STFU!" thread, that quotes from the Burial interview and appreciation of his mix.
