i've consciously, by choice only killed really small bugs like flies and mosquitoes, nowadays just mostly mosquitoes and banana flies or whatever the super tiny ones are called that appear when u don't take the trash out or leave beer / soda bottles lying around

everything even slightly bigger (such as a fly) i take outside

i may have killed some really small animals when i've ran over em without knowing with a car

I go out of my way not to kill moths, spiders, and shit like that. I get a cup and rescue the little cnuts :w:

No remorse for mosquitoes though. And ants if they're invading the kitchen counter

Insects don't fucking COUNT.

I'm probably coming back as a mosquito for this.

^ Ye I just take stuff outside except for flies. I don't bother spiders, i always leave them be because none are dangerous in Canada and they are helpful predators, I started doing that and observing a small spider as an exercise to rid myself of arachnophobia. It worked really well, observed it over 2 years and saw it spawn a family and numerous amazing plot twists. I time-lined most of it on snapchat before DSF times. There were great moments over that period. Once when an other crew from the furnace room tried to invade the living room and the mom spider murdered 2 cellar spiders, then one big one came and cannibalized some of her babies, there was only one healthy one left and at one point near the end of the moms life she left the one healthy spider with 10+ fruit fly corpses and went out to the furnace room and I never saw it again. (Spiders live roughly 2 years I think). The one left spawned an entire family that stood guard until I moved out. There were a few beefs between 2-3 of them where they killed each other to compete for food during the last winter.

I fucking hate flies though, I'll murder a fly in a second, or per the usual feed to a local spider. Flies are just assholes that buzz around for 2-3 days hoping you die in their lifespan so they can lay eggs inside you. Fuck that noise bud.

^^ I did that with spiders. Hated them as a kid, but I finally decided it was better to have one in the corner of my bedroom all summer than it was to deal with flybites. I like them now as long as they DON'T FUCKING MOVE. Too unpredictable.

Also, the word scuttle is inherently traumatic.
